Ken Takenaka

Ken Takenaka is the Clinical Director at Orthopedic +Fracture Specialists in Portland, Oregon. He is responsible for evaluating day to day operations as well as clinical practice, revenue cycle, and business operations. He has experience in leadership development/professional mentorship and project management. Prior to his role as Clinical Director, he was the ATC Department Supervisor and also created and served as the Post Professional Athletic Training Residency Program Director.

He obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of Central Florida and holds a Master's Degree in Education from Mercer University. He completed the Athletic Training Residency Program at Emory University in 2011.

Ken has had the opportunity to serve on the NWATA Young Professionals Committee, the NWATA Honors and Awards Committee, the BOC Panel for Orthopedic Practice Analysis, and began a term on the Oregon Board of Athletic Training in 2022. He has served a guest lecturer for multiple educational programs as well as speaker for various professional organizations.
