Allison Barloon graduated from Simpson College in Indianola, IA with her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training. She then attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville for graduate school. While completing a Masters degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology, she worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer. She completed the AT residency program at the University of Iowa in 2018-2019 and moved on to Nationwide Children's Hospital. In April of 2020, she returned to the University of Iowa and is currently working as a Clinical Athletic Trainer at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She works primarily with orthopedic trauma, hand, and sports medicine.
