Diana Stavrou, LAT, ATC, OTC, is currently employed full-time as an Athletic Trainer at Atlantic Health System in Morristown, New Jersey. Her roles include a variety of applied clinical skills and administrative tasks in a Primary Care Sports Medicine Setting.  She also serves as an affiliated faculty member for the Atlantic Health Athletic Training Residency Program. She has over 14 years of experience in the physician setting including the completion of a residency program in 2009 at The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado.

Over the course of her career, Diana has served in a variety of roles in collegiate, high school and clinical orthopedic settings and has experience volunteering at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, NY. She received her Bachelor of Science from Northeastern University in Boston, MA in 2005.

She believes in assessing a patient based on a full subjective report from the patient, rather than basing a course of action solely on objective measures. She dedicates herself to the overall wellness of her patients which includes getting them back to their previous quality of life.

Diana has been so thankful for all the support and resources she has been given over the past few years from ATPPS and is excited to be able to give back. As a member of the board, she hopes to gain the experience and knowledge to progress the careers of Athletic Trainers in the setting, both experienced, new or those interested in the physician practice.

When not working with patients, Diana enjoys road and trail running, skiing, hiking, swimming, cheering on the NY Yankees, and most importantly spending quality time with her husband Jon and young son, Tyler.
