Aaron Hajart

Aaron F. Hajart was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Community Medical Center (CMC), a RWJBarnabas Health facility, in January 2026. Mr. Hajart initially joined CMC in February 2024 as the Chief Operating Officer.
Aaron joined RWJBarnabas Health in 2022 as the Senior Vice President (SVP) for Service Line and Practice Integration on the Southern Region Leadership Cabinet and played a significant role in advancing the regional strategic plan. He tackled important initiatives such as Rutgers faculty practice development and patient long-stay reduction. In his current role, Aaron oversees the strategic direction and leadership team of the 592-bed acute care hospital located in Toms River, New Jersey.
Mr. Hajart joined RWJBH from Bergen New Bridge Medical Center where we served as the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President for Strategy and Innovation. In his role at Bergen New Bridge, Aaron was the executive leader over hospital operations, strategic planning, managed care, ambulatory care, employed physician practice, and community health. Prior to joining Bergen New Bridge, Aaron served as the Assistant Dean for Clinical Strategy and Development at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
Aaron completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from Hardin-Simmons University and went on to receive his Master’s Degree in Human Relations in Business at Amberton University. He maintains his Board Certification in Athletic Training and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
